| Tallinn is the
capital city of the Estonian Republic. It is especially famous for its beautiful
medieval old town. 11-15th-century street network, a lot of 14-15th-century
buildings and more than a half of the town wall have almost completely retained
and restored.

In the beginning of the 16th century, the town wall was one of the biggest and strongest defensive establishments in the entire Northen Europe. The total length of the wall extended to almost 3 kilometres. | ||
